September 24 (the first day of my hat-knitting frenzy!) was also the day of the
National Book Festival on the Mall. We all biked down together; Dan took the little ones home after a bit and Henry and I had a blast spending the rest of the day there together. This is without a doubt one of my favorite events of the entire year. I might get more excited about this than Christmas. I know, I'm a complete nerd.
